On The Hoof

It’s that time of year again. It’s the Cartier International polo Match between England and Argentina. No rivalry there then! And it’s Cartier’s 25thyear of sponsoring this event. 
The event is being held at the Guards Polo Club, within the Great Park, Windsor.
Being that it is the 25th year anniversary Cartier are planning much more than just a polo event. It will be Cartier international Day, with a lavish gourmet lunch prepared by Anton Mosimann.
The event will be attended by a host of stars of stage and screen and sports men and women alike and of course by none other than yours truly. 
Which brings me to another age old dilemma? With the British weather as capricious as ever and this being a special day for Cartier I just have to have a new dress for such an event. And with a new dress just as night follows day, new shoes, Manolo Blahnik of course.
It is sure to be a fun filled day with the great and the good rubbing shoulder to shoulder whilst watching some of the best Polo players in the world. It’s one of the best events in the calendar year, gourmet food fine champagne and Pimms on tap. Just need to get my new dress and shoes and I’ll be hot to trot at the hottest ticket in town.
